A vision team has been created for First Church to plan for the next 3-5 years of ministry.
The team assessed with the help of the Unstuck group where First Church currently is on the church life cycle chart with the significant decline over the past years, First Church is in the maintenance to preservation stage, quickly moving to life support.
The pastors and Vision Team believe God is calling First Church to new life and a new chapter of ministry. We believe we have a unique setting in which to reach a diverse, intergenerational population growing in our influence on the community through our love of God and neighbor.
As the population of Kenosha is growing by 1000 to 2,000 people each year, we believe we can reach out and make a difference in people's lives with the grace and love of Jesus. We also believe in 5 years we can fill our Sanctuary Pews.
