We would like to thank Shirley Edwards, Barb Abrams and Kathy O'Connell for volunteering for this past food drive. They were very busy. Perhaps I need to take more weekend mini trips as the results were the best ever.Total items collected 1491 items and $140. In checks and cash. Just a little information on peanut butter shared with me from the Salvation Army. Peanut butter is always on the list. Normally peanut butter is subsidized by the government. They haven't had any to give for the last 4 months. Salvation Army has been purchasing it themselves. The large size containers are given to families of five or more.
